A TV series for the Man in Seat 61?

Production and film distribution company Guerilla Films is planning a TV series about Mark Smith’s award winning website The Man in Seat 61.  They are due to start filming this summer, for broadcast in 2011.

In this pilot episode actor Kenneth Cranham travels with Mark Smith from Trafalgar Square, London to Waterloo Battlefied, Belgium en route to St. Petersburg, Russia.

Mark Smith taught himself how to build a website after working a wide range of jobs within the rail industry, and deciding there was a knowledge gap on the internet about planning train journeys.  His Website has seen huge success, and is the go to site for anything train journey related, in any part of the world.
