REVIEW: Travelfish Angkor iPhone App

Travelfish iPhone App - Home Screen

Travelfish has recently added a new app to the iPhone supermall. The Angkor, Cambodia travel app gives you all you will ever need for a trip to Angkor.

Want the background and history to Angkor? It’s there.

Need to know what to pack for the walking tour you’re going to do of Siem Reap? It’s there too.

Or what about a last minute backpacking stop in Wat Bo, Siem Reap? Yup, book your ‘home away from home’ right from this app.

What I love most

What I love best about it is the scroll feature of everything listed with short blurbs and the option to read more if I desired to do so. After reading more, you can bookmark the Blue Pumpkin cafe and map it along with the Angkor What? bar you plan to visit afterward.

Map It on the Travelfish iPhone App

If you’ve heard some crazy stories about crossing the borders into Cambodia, don’t fret. This Travelfish iPhone app gives you the inside scoop on keeping your nerves at ease. And once you’re in, you can peruse the app for things to do and the best activities from cooking classes to yoga, or maybe some birdwatching if that suits your fancy.

Even though two hands are needed to operate this app because it doesn’t swap to the vertical view, it pays off to feel some comfort of knowing every detail about your next move.

Contradict Any Misguided Stories of Cambodia

Everything and anything you need to contradict any misguided stories you’ve heard about Cambodia is right at your fingertips. Give back to the children by bookmarking a visit to one of the children’s hospitals. Or if you’re confused on the terms on the ruins, check out the glossary.

It’s all there.

Price: $7.99 Available at the U.S. App Store
